About
Dr. Gündoğdu graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 2006 and completed his general surgery training at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital. He worked at Ankara Liv Hospital from 2016 to 2022, during which he trained in robotic surgery at Stony Brook University, New York, and obtained certification as a console surgeon for the da Vinci Robotic System.
In 2019, he received the FEBS (Fellow of the European Board of Surgery) title through the European Board Surgical Qualification Examination. In 2022, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor of General Surgery. He has authored chapters in 5 academic books, translated chapters in 13 reference books, and published more than 40 articles and presentations, with over 1000 citations to his work.
